We are pleased to announce that Lützen Portengen, will give a keynote presentation at X2018. The presentation title is “Multipollutant models for etiologic research: a closer look”.
Dr. Lützen Portengen was trained as an epidemiologist at Utrecht University, the Netherlands. He earned his PhD in 2004 with a thesis focusing on risk modification and combined exposures in occupational respiratory allergy. He is currently an Assistant Professor at the Institute for Risk Assessment Sciences at Utrecht University, The Netherlands. His scientific research focuses on the adaptation and application of novel statistical techniques to identify environmental risk factors for cancer, asthma, and neurological diseases using epidemiological data. One of his main research areas is the exploration of new methods for investigating exposure-response relations in observational studies for exposure mixtures.
