Biography

Alison Connolly is a PhD candidate in the Centre of Climate and Air Pollution Studies (C-CAPS) in the National University of Ireland, Galway (NUIG), researching exposures to pesticides from occupational uses in the amenity horticulture and gardening sector. Research conducting by Alison involves completing exposure assessments using biomonitoring and dermal sampling among professional amenity horticulturists. Alison has a keen interest in exposure science and occupational hygiene and obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) honorary degree in Health and Safety Systems from the National University of Ireland, Galway (NUIG) in 2014.
